Direction Dependent Selection

Ken

Do you know how to select elements in ARCHICAD with the Direction Dependent Selection method?  This has been available for a number of versions and is a really useful option – but in the default installation, it is not activated, so you may not even be aware of it.

To activate Direction Dependent Selection, go to the Arrow Tool and click the first button in the Infobox as highlighted below:

"Chris Clark with BIM6x, and his whole office always have your back. Whether I’ve lost my key before a big presentation (they got me a replacement the next morning!) or when I’ve had technical or installation questions they put you to the top of the list. We’ve been working with BIM6x for over ten years now, and there isn’t one instance where I haven’t been a priority with his team. Formation Architecture has a valuable teammate in BIM6x".

“BIM6x has played a crucial role in helping our company grow and become more efficient. BIM6x is professional, responsive, and they are fun to work with. I would recommend that anyone who is contemplating using the cutting edge technology that ARCHICAD has to offer architects and engineers start off on the right foot and contact BIM6x for training.”
