Remove Detail and Worksheet Boundaries

Ken

When you create a new Detail Drawing or Worksheet – you will often see a dashed line boundary appearing.  This shows the zone that was initially highlighted in the creation of the document… and the first thing most people do is delete it!  However, the next time you rebuild the view, it will come back, and keep coming back!

To prevent this, you can uncheck the option in the Work Environment that will prevent the boundary being created in the first place.  To deactivate this option, go to Options> Work Environment> More Options:

"ARCHICAD has enabled Slichter Architects to expand our services while mainstreaming our workflow. By embracing BIM technology we have provided our clients early project models for both interior and exterior review while developing the projects for quick turn around of construction drawings once the design is approved."

“Having used Revit and ARCHICAD extensively, I can without hesitation say that ARCHICAD is BIM for architects. The ease of workflow from pre-design to schematic design to construction documents makes it ideal. There are so many time saving features. The fact that I can collaborate globally with minimal setup and that I can create anything my imagination comes up with is a great benefit to my architectural practice.”
