Don’t have boring drawing frames!

Ken

Drawing Frames in ARCHICAD and most packages are typically drawn as rectangles… but why stick with something so simple?  Did you know you can make the frame (boundary) of a drawing almost any shape?

Let's get one thing straight though before going too far into this - when we talk about a ‘drawing’ we are meaning a Drawing in the ARCHICAD sense.  This is either an imported document (PDF, image, DWG, DXF etc) or a View that has been saved then placed on a Layout.

“Chris and Link from BIM6x have been an incredible assistance and resource for our firm as we have implemented ARCHICAD into our office workflow. Not only are they experts in the use and implementation of the software, they are also very enjoyable to work with. They are always quick to respond to any questions or issues that we may have ... and if they don’t have the answers (which is rare) they know where to send us to find them. Their technical support is by far the best that we have ever had in our industry and their development of the BIM6x ARCHICAD Template Kits is a testament of their desire to see their clients succeed.”

ARCHICAD has been the primary software in my architectural practice for over a decade. I am continuously impressed by the powerful solution ARCHICAD offers for the design process from early design through construction. I love that I never need to “dumb-down” my virtual designs at any point along the way! The power of the virtual model is incredible through every stage of the project and it is especially helpful for many clients who otherwise struggle with visualization of their project.
